The Ancient Greek Gods and UFOs
“Not really,” he said at last. “Why? What does any of this have to do with religion?” “Oh,” said the bald man, looking up and smiling, a catlike grin that did not reach his eyes. He pushed the book across the table to where Alan could read the two words on its spine. “Absolutely everything,” said the man, tapping the book with his index finger. The lettering on its spine said The Odyssey, by Homer. “Though perhaps myth is a better term than religion. Less loaded. Major Young, did you ever wonder how the Apollo space program got its name?” Alan blinked. “Apollo was the god of the sun, right?” he said. “And crossed the sky daily in a glittering chariot,” Kenyon agreed. “So?” “So let’s consider the possibility that that chariot was more than metaphorical.” “Let me get this straight,” said Alan. “You’re saying that the craft we’re flying were brought here by aliens which humans took to be the gods of ancient Greece, but they left and now we have their stuff?” In response to Alan’s contemptuous tone, Kenyon smiled but, for a moment so long it became uncomfortable he said nothing, just staring unblinkingly at Alan — that odd, knowing smile fixed on his nondescript face. At last he opened his mouth, but the next eight words came out so low that Alan had to strain to hear them. “What makes you think that they ever left?”

When Tom DeLonge first announced that he was assembling a team of advisors from classified areas of the government, people didn’t know what to think. A few laughed nervously, some rolled their eyes, and many others (Klaus and I) seriously listened. DeLonge wanted to build an engine to disseminate accurate information about UFOs to a public that was quickly losing trust in their government. After pitching his idea to some of his high-level advisors, the interest began to snowball.
Tom was able to build connections with leaders from the CIA, NSA, NASA Ames Research Center, Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks, and the US Air Force Research Laboratory. As Tom has explained, multiple advisors told him that the Ancient Greek Gods were real and directly connected to the UFO phenomenon. In a 2016 interview with UFO researcher Linda Howe, DeLonge sounded extremely serious and explained the Greek god / UFO situation as he understands it.

LINDA HOWE: “Your advisors use the term, ’The Others?’”
TOM DELONGE: “Yes. In my communications with certain people within my advisory group, it is referred to as ‘the Others.’ ‘The Others’ makes a lot of sense, because the first thing people need to realize about the UFO phenomenon is — it is intelligence that is here — has always been here — and I think calling them ‘the others’ makes a lot more sense. Because they’re in our oceans, they’re on our moon, they might be underground in certain places, so you’re talking about the other groups of intelligences that are here on the planet with us.”
HOWE: “You’ve attributed ‘the Others’ to gods with a little g. Can you please go into that now?”
DELONGE: “All the different areas of the world have different stories of gods, and I call that the little g. These are beings that have god-like powers that are meddling in human affairs, but they’re not what god is. The idea of whatever the big g god that created the universe, whatever force of nature that might be, is different. I was told that there are numerous gods fighting amongst themselves and interjecting themselves into human affairs, that those myths are true. All those ancient stories — those were real. You look at a lot of the studies that you have done Linda, and what people have followed over the past thirty, forty years, some people that have worked in these facilities have all talked about ancient hieroglyphics being on these craft — and they look like Ancient Greek. I am told that they are Ancient Greek — that there is a major connection to the hardware that we have and the Ancient Greek gods.”
HOWE: “The Greek gods were not just mythology on pages or stone, they are for real now — and they were then, and in the future, right?”
DELONGE: “That is exactly what is being told to me.”
HOWE: “And if we understood — why did Prometheus defend humanity, and Prometheus was with the titans — versus Zeus, who won the war — but Prometheus gave humanity fire. What is that relationship? Prometheus favoring humanity’s survival, not annihilation. The same thing happened with Enlil and Enki in the Annunaki. Enki is the one who fought Enlil over whether to annihilate humanity, and right now we’re in the twenty-first century because Prometheus and Enki prevailed.”
DELONGE: “Yeah. Around the time of the Ancient Greek civilization, these gods came in, and they passed down a huge amount of knowledge. That’s when we got the alphabet and that’s when we really got into all the mathematics and everything that we know that comes with the Ancient Greek civilization. I put down a question where I said it looks to me that these gods came down here and they tampered with a Sumerian civilization, and then they started fighting amongst themselves, and then mankind started to factionalize. Well something happened with those gods fighting other gods that we have all those ancient myths of Olympus and the titans and all of that stuff. After that, it seems to me that the gods stuck around and they started playing up the different religions between mankind, so we can now be so entertained fighting each other that this intelligence can roam around the planet to do whatever else it is its trying to do — whether its trying to tamper with the DNA of mankind, or its trying to figure out how to harness a human beings’ soul, whatever it might be after I’m not totally sure. Everything in those early advisory group communications were fine, but when I touched on the idea of hybrids and the human soul is when all the communication stopped on that thread. So I have to look at that as something that I shouldn’t have been going into at the time.”

Soon after his sensational interview with Howe, in October 2017 DeLonge appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast to provide more information about his project, advisors, and the connections to the Greek gods. In this discussion, Tom claimed that Atlantis, the mythical sunken city, was real and connected to the UFO phenomenon. The blink-182 guitarist explained, “There’s a very advanced group that left after a catastrophe and hung around on a small outpost here, and throughout time would push civilization forward, and that’s who the greek gods were.”
So what actually happened to Atlantis? Who were the Greek gods? If they are corporeally real, as DeLonge’s advisors suggest, how have they impacted our planet and its culture? And finally, we must attempt to answer Linda Howe’s question: What is the significance of the story of Prometheus favoring humanity in the war against the titans?
Hesiod’s Theogony says that in the beginning there was only Chaos, and then Gaia (the Earth) came into being. Gaia gave birth to Ouranos (the Sky), and together they had the Titans, the Cyclopes, and the Hecatoncheires (hundred-handed giants). Ouranos imprisoned the Cyclopes and Hecatoncheires, which angered Gaia. She persuaded her son Cronus, a Titan, to overthrow Ouranos. Cronus castrated Ouranos, freeing some children, but he later swallowed his own children to prevent a prophecy that one would overthrow him, setting the stage for the war between the Titans and the next generation of gods.
